Log burning stove
Ipod docking station
2 bath/shower rooms
Large garden with picnic bench and views of the loch and forest
There are many cycle tracks in the 6,000 acre forest behind the cottage and walks galore taking in waterfalls, burns, hills, and places of special interest like Iron Age Brochs. Fishing on the loch is free and if your interest is snorkelling, the protected coral reef in Loch Duich should interest you.
As Saraig is only 3 miles from the A87, most of the North West Highlands and Islands are within easy reach. The bridge over to the Isle of Skye is only 18 miles away.
Last, but not least, there are many Munros in the area for the keen hillwalker plus countless other smaller, but no less dramatic, hills. One hill in particular, Sgurr an Airgid, directly opposite the cottage has a good path and is moderate in difficulty. The views all the way up and down this spectacular attainable mountain are glorious and once on its peak, the 360 degree vista takes your breath away.
